Welcome

Welcome to the site of Queen's College Old Girl's Association.
"The association is made up of girls who attended Queen's College, Lagos Nigeria. Currently we have approximately 75 members on our books of which we can say around a third of them are active.
The aim of the association is to build a platform on which QCOGs can stand
To get in touch with old friends and make new ones.
To socialise with each other
To forge new business links
To perform our moral obligation to support our Alma Mata
To perform other charitable acts within the community in which we live.
To have fun whilst we are doing it.
The association holds meetings 4 times a year. We use this opportunity to catch up with each other and organise social and other formal events."

Meeting Held on 14th November 2009, at Fullers Wood, Croydon

A general Social gathering was held on 14th November 2009, at Fullers wood Croydon. It was the first meeting of QCOGA ( UK) held in a long time, and it can be reported as complete success. We had a lot of fun, there was food, reminiscing, lively debate and all the kids present got on as if they had known each other for years!.
Clearly we had to get down to some serious business, we had the clear aim of making sure our association became active again. Some of you will recall the days of heady success with picnics, dinner dances, charity walks etc. We agreed that the softly softly approach was called for as we wanted to encourage everyone back to the association. To kick things off we decided we would hold the Picnic again. It is set to be held in July 2010, details can be seen to the left. Full details will be posted as they become available. There will be raffles, quizzes and all sorts of fun for the kids on the day.
We have also kick started the meetings again and the next one will be held in March 2010.
Well please feel free to leave a comment and please do share this site with other QC girls, as this we would love to see everyone and we will be posting details of any events on this forum.
