Welcome

Welcome to the site of Queen's College Old Girl's Association.
"The association is made up of girls who attended Queen's College, Lagos Nigeria. Currently we have approximately 75 members on our books of which we can say around a third of them are active.
The aim of the association is to build a platform on which QCOGs can stand
To get in touch with old friends and make new ones.
To socialise with each other
To forge new business links
To perform our moral obligation to support our Alma Mata
To perform other charitable acts within the community in which we live.
To have fun whilst we are doing it.
The association holds meetings 4 times a year. We use this opportunity to catch up with each other and organise social and other formal events."

Meeting Held on 13th March 2010, held at Stoke Mandeville

Hi ya all
We had a really good meeting on the 13th March 2010. It was held at Stoke Mandeville. There was really good attendance, we had ladies who left QC as early as 1950 to those who left as recently as 1990. How cool was that? The hostess was superb, she plied us with lots of food and drink. There were many trips down memory lane and all sorts of fun and laughter. It made for a fantastic afternoon. We also got down to the hard business of the association, which on this occasion was organising our picnic. This as you know is set for 3rd July. It has been designed its set at a cost of £10 per family. As always any event hosted by QCOGA ( UK) will have an aim to raise money in order to carry out good deeds for our beloved Queen's College. To this end, we would like all participants to come along with a gift for the tombola/ raffle. Of course Donations would be most welcome. The next meeting will be held on 19th June, please come along. You will be amazed at how much fun you could have.
